How to use fl studio 12.1.23/7/2024 ![]() Regarding the plugins disappearing, I eventually brought them back by telling Plugin Manager to rescan the plugins including verified ones, however the trick to getting them back was to turn off the option that says "Combine presets for VST 2 and 3 plugins", once I turned that off and rescanned the plugins it brought them all back. I'm going to continue testing but the question I had is, that "Bit size" setting, is it simply the same as opening the project in 12.1.2 圆4 ?, have I basically made no change ? ![]() Lowe and behold, Soundtoys Decapitator is the one that's causing the large db difference, so I started checking each of the settings on the plugin's settings (where you open the plugin and go to FL's settings, that plug and gear icon), eventually I got the plugin to work with the correct db level by changing the "Bit size" option to "64 bit", now when I open this new project it sound the same in both FL 12.1.2 x86 and 64. ![]() ![]() So I found something, I started from the beginning on a fresh new project with 12.1.2 x86, added each kick file in, assigned it to a bus, routed all to a master kick bus, played the sound and watched the meter level, saved the file and opened in 圆4, all fine so far, then I proceeded to apply each plugin one by one while copying the settings, then saving the file and opening in 圆4 to see at which point it changes. ![]()
